Hi – I’m trying to change the number of recall days on the mortality sheet but it looks as if it is an automatic link there and I cannot adjust it. It says ‘Recall days from planning sheet’ but on my planning sheet I cannot see any provision for entering a date of the survey or the actual ‘memorable event date’ that would be needed.
The recall period of the surveys I require this function for is considerably longer (107 and 117 days) than the 93 days that are currently displayed in the box.
When I open the ‘Survey protocol’ on the Planning sheet I also notice that it contains the 93.

I have searched through the overall menu ‘Files’ and ‘Extra’ and also all other menus (planning, training, data entry anthro, etc.) and I simply could not find any place or box where I could adjust the number of recall days.

What did I miss and how do I adjust this?

Many thanks & a good weekend!

    Dear Gudrun,

You cannot change the recall period in the mortality (Death Rates) tab. Go to the Planning tab and type in the length of your recall period in the “Recall period in days” box under Sample size calculation for a death rate survey. You should then automatically see the updated number in the Death Rates tab.

FYI the Survey Protocol button will generate an automated template that includes actual data from your Planning tab (i.e., if you type in 117 as your recall period in days, the generated document will reflect the updated number).

    Cheers,
