The SMART initiative introduces an updated MUAC data collection tool to be used and adapted in any country based on the context. The tool is now available in French! This tool helps collect MUAC screening information and present it in a more meaningful way. MUAC screening has been widely used to 1) find and refer children eligible for nutrition treatment and 2) to better understand the nutrition situation in the area. The SMART team is available for guidance and sensitization on the tool.
